The nursery is dedicated to fostering a love for learning through exploration and play within a natural and calming environment. They accommodate babies, toddlers, and preschool children, each group benefiting from dedicated rooms and adjoining outdoor play areas, promoting free flow play throughout the day. A strong emphasis is placed on outdoor learning, with staff trained to facilitate safe tool usage and risk assessment. The nursery's manager is Forest School trained, ensuring regular outdoor sessions. They also pride themselves on their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support, with a manager holding an NVQ 3 in SEND in the early years, providing comprehensive training for staff and support for families. The nursery focuses on nurturing children's mental health and wellbeing through various activities, stories, and physical play, encouraging them to express their feelings. Our ethos ABC Day Nursery is dedicated to fostering a love for learning through exploration and play within a natural and calming environment, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning facilitated by Forest School trained staff.
