The setting also places a strong emphasis on children's safety and welfare, with robust safeguarding practices in place. Parents consistently recognise the positive impact of the playgroup, appreciating the warm and trusting relationships staff build with children. The culture of respect and high expectations leads to courteous behaviour and collaborative play among the children. Leaders continually review and enhance aspects of the provision, including obtaining detailed information from parents to effectively support each child's learning journey. Our ethos Acorn Playgroup and Pre-School is committed to creating a secure space where children can learn and develop independence and confidence. They focus on individualised care, working closely with families to extend each child's knowledge and support their growth, and are trained in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Invoices are billed and paid on a half-termly basis. A registration fee applies to secure a place, though this is waived for children starting with government childcare funding.
