Your children will enjoy being here everyday and the staff are so kind, welcoming and friendly. There is a large outdoor area to play, and there are also swings. Some children can often be quite timid and fear socialising when they first come, but after a few weeks, they have already made plenty of friends and are smiling everyday with their favourite toys. I cannot tell you enough excellent things about BCN, and I wish more people can send their children here!",

"reviewBody": "Burmantofts community nursery was a lovely experience for my son Riccardo.\n\nThe environment offers a lot of opportunities to help children learn, develop and grow\n\nThe setting is a well planned out environment, that provides resources and activities appropriate to children’s ages that attend.\n\nThe nursery has a wonderful outdoor open space area that has a lot of equipment provided for children to access freely. They have three outdoor playing areas for children to play in, which is absolutely brilliant! Riccardo loved this because he could run around and play freely. We don’t have much garden space at home so this was perfect!\n\nFresh meals that were provided by the nursery chef on a daily basis was displayed in the corridor on a food board, so that I knew what my child had eaten that day. Staff would also kindly inform me how much he had eaten so I was aware.\n\nstaff members at BCN are all well mannered and pleasant. Always happy to help and go that extra mile. If you have any worries or concerns they would always direct me to the relevant person.\n\nRiccardo built a good relationship with all of the staff team during his time at BCN. He started off in the baby room and worked his way up to the big room. He did leave the big room but this was due to my own personal choice.\n\nI can’t thank BCN staff enough for making my son feel so welcome and part of there nursery family. It’s always nice to know that your children are in safe hands and being well looked after and I definitely got this feeling from this nursery.\n\nI would definitely recommend this nursery to my family, friends and also people out in the community who’s looking for childcare for their children.",

## How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported incredibly well by knowledgeable and experienced staff. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure that children get the help they need to make progress in their learning, and successfully use additional funding to offer new experiences and support their development.

Outdoor space

Children get plenty of fresh air and opportunities to be active. They run around in the spacious and extremely well-planned nursery garden, and learn how to manage risks safely. Children ride on bikes and scooters, climb, balance and swing on nursery apparatus, which helps them to develop their physical skills and coordination.

I have volunteered here as a student, and let me say that this is one of the best nurseries you can ever send your kids to! I cannot tell you enough excellent things about BCN, and I wish more people can send their children here!

Burmantofts community nursery was a lovely experience for my son Riccardo. The environment offers a lot of opportunities to help children learn, develop and grow The setting is a well planned out environment, that provides resources and activities appropriate to children’s ages that attend. The nursery has a wonderful outdoor open space area that has a lot of equipment provided for children to access freely. They have three outdoor playing areas for children to play in, which is absolutely brilliant! Riccardo loved this because he could run around and play freely. We don’t have much garden space at home so this was perfect! Fresh meals that were provided by the nursery chef on a daily basis was displayed in the corridor on a food board, so that I knew what my child had eaten that day. Staff would also kindly inform me how much he had eaten so I was aware. staff members at BCN are all well mannered and pleasant. Always happy to help and go that extra mile. If you have any worries or concerns they would always direct me to the relevant person. Riccardo built a good relationship with all of the staff team during his time at BCN. He started off in the baby room and worked his way up to the big room. He did leave the big room but this was due to my own personal choice. I can’t thank BCN staff enough for making my son feel so welcome and part of there nursery family. It’s always nice to know that your children are in safe hands and being well looked after and I definitely got this feeling from this nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery to my family, friends and also people out in the community who’s looking for childcare for their children.
