The nursery have a very complicated payment structure which is confusing to understand and not clear at all. The problem is that for children over 3 who are entilled to 15 hours of care through NEG funding will never receive 15 hours, it is closer to 6-7 hours with the parents paying for the rest. This is due to the way the nursery uses a complicated invoicing method designed to maximise their income rather than give parents what they are entilled to. If you do not have time to worry about how much you are paying and if you don't mind not getting your full allocation of care in hours then this will be a good place for children. The latest Ofsted inspection, on 4th May 2023, rated the nursery as "Good" in all areas. Children are warmly welcomed by their key person, and staff create an enriching environment based on their interests, encouraging exploration of resources. The curriculum is well-planned and sequenced, with a focus on developing children's curiosity for learning. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive good support, with leaders working alongside other agencies to implement strategies tailored to individual needs. The nursery also places importance on outdoor learning, with a large outdoor area where staff engage children in discussions about nature, such as the sounds of birds and their role in the plant life cycle.
