The latest Ofsted inspection, carried out on 19 December 2023, judged the nursery to be 'Good' in overall effectiveness, quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. Children are welcomed into a warm and inviting environment, where staff greet them and their families in a friendly manner, taking time to listen and share information. The nursery incorporates seasonal and topical events to capture children's interests, creating engaging experiences. Children explore the environment confidently, participating in various interesting and enjoyable activities provided by staff, such as sensory play for younger children and exploring globes for older children. The curriculum is designed to support all children in making good progress, using their individual interests as a basis for learning. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive extensive support, with the special educational needs and disabilities coordinator working alongside parents and professionals to ensure precise and consistent assistance. Staff employ effective strategies to help children with SEND communicate and manage their emotions, fostering good progress in their development. Parents have commented on the value of the settle sessions and the positive progress their children make. The nursery also focuses on developing children's communication and language skills through various activities and supports their independence skills, for example, by encouraging younger children to put on their coats before going outside.
