The latest Ofsted inspection, on 1st May 2024, rated Cherrytown Nursery as 'Good' in all areas, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management, reflecting significant improvements since its previous inspection. Staff are highly praised for their sensitive and caring approach, building strong relationships with children, particularly the youngest, helping them to settle quickly and feel secure. The nursery implements a well-sequenced curriculum, collaboratively developed by managers and staff, ensuring that learning activities are relevant and support children in making good progress. Children are encouraged to explore and discuss, for example, during outdoor snack times where they learn about healthy eating and the origins of food.
