They look to you for security and to walk away when there crying is heart renching. This is no longer the case since finding the chestnut tree nursery .looking on the internet may put you off slightly but our family are so glad we went to look for ourselves,there was not one sad face andstaff were happy and pleasant too. The nursery had a really lovely feel to it. My grandson doesn't cry anymore and asks to go on a Saturday and Sunday, I can't express how this makes me feel and knowing that my daughter and son in law can now relax knowing he's in good hands .I well up when I pick him up cause he's such a happy little boy . I heard him tell my friend that he doesn't need foxy on his tummy cause this nursery doesn't hurt his tummy,now that says it all . Open all year round from Monday to Friday, with sessions running from 7:30 am to 6 pm, the nursery offers a welcoming and nurturing environment. The latest Ofsted inspection on 25th March 2022 rated Chestnut Tree Nursery as 'Good' in overall effectiveness, highlighting its commitment to providing quality education and promoting positive personal development. Children are warmly welcomed and settle well, forming secure relationships with staff and confidently sharing their achievements. The nursery focuses on supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, working closely with other professionals and the local authority to provide suitable activities and ensure good progress. During their time at the nursery, children have opportunities for physical activity through walks to the park and daily yoga sessions, developing an understanding of safety by actively participating in risk assessments. Children enjoy exploring their local community, learning about the world around them through visits to shops and the library. Parents consistently praise the staff for keeping them updated on their child's development and knowing each child well.
