It operates on a term-time basis, offering both a Breakfast Club and After School Club for its nursery children and pupils from Church Walk CofE Primary School. The nursery prides itself on delivering high-quality early years education and care, working in collaboration with parents to foster children's learning and development. With a strong commitment to inclusivity, Church Walk Pre-school Nursery welcomes all children, promoting equality regardless of background or ability. The nursery maintains a low adult-to-child ratio, with 1:5 for under-threes and 1:8 for over-threes, ensuring personalised attention. Each child is assigned a Key Person who tracks their development using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and maintains regular communication with parents through both informal discussions and formal interviews held twice a year. This works particularly well for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff swiftly identify when children are at risk of falling behind in their development and know just how to meet every child's individual needs.
