My daughter has developed so well whilst being at nursery, she has grown in confidence and has developed an excellent understanding. I feel that this is due to the staff who have clearly made an effort to get to know her and are able to identify her needs. She has a lovely bond with her key worker and will smile and put her arms straight out to her when I drop off.\nThe nursery is a lovely environment and always feels warm and homely. They are more than accommodating to my son’s requests and we feel comfortable leaving him given their professional and courteous manner. We also found the sensory room was very small and would isolate our son from the rest of the children.\n\nWe therefore decided to go with the Rothwell nursery so called ahead and spoke to someone as the manager wasn't available and they said there were still places left. We then called back later to get hold of the manager who said there were places until we confirmed our sons details and they suddenly didn't have any places left. In other words they didn't want my autistic son to go to there nursery. I just wish they could have told us up front as now we can't find any others that have places.
