His place is funded, 15 hours a week. I can not fault the staff and I highly recommend the nursery to any parent looking for child care. If your child has any allergies or dietary requirements, it is well taken care of. There is a wide range of healthy foods available for your children. Each parent has frequent updates of their child through their online portals, which only you and the staff have access to. There is a lovely spacious outside garden play area, with lots of different physical activities and the children play outside come rain or shine. There are daily activities, books and phonics the children learn, along with nursery rhymes and concerts that the children take part in. My son has a great rapport with his first key worker Miss Katie who he admires dearly. He talks about her alot at home. He has come along leaps and bounds with all aspects of his learning since he has been attending the nursery. He has made lots of friends and his confidence is growing. The nursery staff can put in place a password of your own choosing for collection of your child. Without this password they WILL NOT hand over your child. The staff are also very understanding of any cultural requirement. Everything about your child stays confidential between you (the parent) and the staff. The staff will update you on your child's online portal of any outbreaks of illnesses in the nursery setting and will also share detailed information on what to do. Which is great for any parent that may not know. Its a great support system. The nursery staff are well equipped in supporting your child with potty training and with the parents guidance will support the child where needed. The staff teach valuable lessons about sharing nicely and being kind to others, they have a quiet corner when your child may be struggling with their emotions. All of the staff really do go the extra mile for your children and their love and support really does show.
