Daybreak Nursery caters to different age groups within two main rooms: the Sunflower Room for children from birth to 2 years, and the Sunshine Room for 2-5 year olds, which boasts a variety of activity areas. An enclosed outdoor area further enhances learning opportunities with features like a large treehouse, a mud hut, and a water wall. The nursery operates with a core belief that every child, family, and staff member is important, striving for a partnership founded on listening to help everyone reach their full potential. Outdoor space Children have a can-do attitude to their learning, for example, older children hold out their arms to support themselves to balance across wooden planks. However, the outdoor environment is not as effectively planned as indoors, and does not provide children with as many exciting experiences, meaning children who prefer to learn outdoors do not get as many learning opportunities.
