Children also benefit from regular excursions into the village, exploring the creek, local farms, and smallholdings to connect with nature and the community. The pre-school collaborates closely with Devoran School, facilitating shared activities and trips for its children with the Foundation Class. As a registered charity, its operations are overseen by a volunteer management committee composed of parents, who are encouraged to participate in the pre-school’s running through committee involvement or support at fundraising and social events. Emphasising a strong partnership between parents and practitioners, the pre-school is committed to positively influencing children's development and learning. Children are curious and enjoy taking part in activities that help them develop early mathematics, science, and creative skills.
