I spoke to staff over and over about possibly sending an email to parents to please be mindful and considerate to those of us who need those spaces as there’s a reason they’re there and you would think it’s a delight to be disabled. For one of the managers to then shout at me in front of all the parents because I was talking calmly to a member of staff as to why those spaces are important to someone like me, shouting “there’s nothing we can do” when I mentioned reporting it to the council she shouted at me again saying there’s nothing they can do either when in fact the car park is owned by the council as the council had already informed me of this. Because of this I no longer picked my granddaughter up which made it so much harder for my daughter. The level of disrespect towards members of the disabled community was ridiculous.
