Outdoor space Children make frequent trips out of the setting, for example, to the local woods. Forest school training has enabled staff to provide regular forest school sessions, where children can deepen their learning about the natural world. This is also promoted as the pre-school has its own allotment, where children help to plant and grow cabbages, tomatoes and pumpkins.
