Established in 2007, this inclusive setting fosters respectful relationships between staff, children, and their families, celebrating children's cultures and traditions within its curriculum. The nursery focuses on supporting children to develop a positive approach to diversity, helping them feel they belong and are represented. The curriculum, designed with input from outside professionals, is ambitious and offers a wide range of rich experiences tailored to the children's needs. Staff are skilled in extending children's learning through play, introducing new language and encouraging critical thinking. The setting places a strong emphasis on physical development, supporting babies to pull themselves up and older children to engage in activities such as bowling and cycling. A love for reading is promoted, with cosy reading spots available both indoors and outdoors. Mathematical development is also a key focus, and children confidently use mathematical concepts in their play. The special educational needs coordinator works closely with other agencies to ensure children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) receive tailored support and make good progress. The overall effectiveness of the provision was rated as 'Good' by Ofsted during its latest inspection on 26th April 2024. Children's health is given utmost priority, with staff sharing vital health messages regarding oral hygiene, healthy eating, and handwashing.
