Open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, the nursery offers a nurturing environment within a house surrounded by fields and woodlands. The nursery is led by Emma, the nursery provider, and Charlotte, the nursery manager, and received a "Good" Ofsted inspection in June 2022. Folly Farm Day Nursery focuses on building strong relationships with families, acknowledging their unique backgrounds and cultures. They aim to foster individuality and support children in becoming happy, curious, resilient, capable, confident, and self-assured learners. The nursery incorporates "loose parts and risky play" and aspects of the curiosity approach to achieve its developmental goals. The facility is divided into a "Baby Barn" for children aged 6 months to 2 years and an "Orchard" space for those aged 18 months to 5 years. Our ethos Folly Farm Day Nursery aims to foster individuality and support children in becoming happy, curious, resilient, capable, confident, and self-assured learners by incorporating "loose parts and risky play" and aspects of the Curiosity Approach.
