The nursery received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted report in March 2022. The dedicated staff, many qualified to Level 3 or above, including some with Level 6 degrees, are committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Children are cared for in age-appropriate rooms and are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, both adult-led and child-initiated, to foster their development. The nursery emphasises outdoor play, with activities like nature trails, picnics in woodlands, and visits to horses. Glen Jakes strongly believes in a partnership with parents, fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure continuity of care and a rewarding experience for each child. They implement a key worker system to provide individualised attention and support.
