Practitioners consider children's age, stage and individual needs when supporting behaviour and make appropriate adjustments, including for children with SEND. Children with SEND benefit from skilled emotional support that helps them recognise and manage their feelings. Professional development is strongest in statutory areas and in supporting children with SEND, with extensive training that deepens staff understanding.
