In 2003, the nursery moved into a purpose-built facility. While operating in partnership with the NHS, it is also open to the general public. The nursery operates from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks a year, closing only for the Christmas week and bank holidays. It proudly holds the NDNA Quality Counts Award, reflecting its commitment to high standards. They offer healthy, nutritious, and balanced meals prepared daily and emphasise learning through play, fostering a sense of self-worth and concentration in children. The nursery provides an affordable pricing plan and encourages parents to inquire about eligibility for government funding. Discounted rates are available for NHS employees. The knowledgeable special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) knows children's needs well and communication is effective within the team, ensuring concerns are brought to the SENCo and parents quickly. Strategies are put in place straight away to ensure that children's gaps in development close quickly. The SENCo has good links with outside agencies, who are invited into the setting to support children and staff. Outdoor space Children make good progress in their physical development and develop their physical skills in the large outdoor areas.
