He didn’t like separating from me and it was the constant love, kindness and care he received from every single member of staff at Hazebrouck which changed this. Now he is settled, has lots of little friends, and loves attending because he knows at Hazebrouck something amazing is going to happen every day. Be it French lessons with lovely Madam, learning about a new letter with Brionny or having forest school with Helen. There is always some dancing & singing to do which both he absolutely enjoys. The nursery is well equipped inside and outside, lots of toys and books which children can use. (My personal favourite is the sensory room which you just have to see for yourself).\nAs the nursery is small, I love the fact that every single member of staff (even those who aren’t in his group) calls him on his name and when you walk in there is always a smile and kind words from everyone.\nHe is going to start school this September and I am confident that the foundation of education he received at Hazebrouck will make him strive there. Open all year round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, the nursery provides care and education for children aged 0-4 years. Achieving an overall "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 15th May 2023, the nursery ensures children make good progress from their starting points. Staff excel at understanding each child's existing skills and knowledge upon entry, building upon these to foster continuous development through stimulating activities tailored to individual interests. The curriculum is thoughtfully sequenced, preparing children for independence, from encouraging babies to self-feed to teaching older children to use cutlery and pour drinks. Children are strongly encouraged to live healthy lifestyles, with daily access to large outdoor spaces for physical activities like running, climbing, and riding. Older children, in particular, demonstrate high confidence and skill on large outdoor apparatus, happily tackling challenging obstacle courses. While children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) generally make good progress, the nursery is working on strengthening strategic plans to ensure more specific and consistent support for their best rates of progress.
