Ofsted inspected the setting in March 2025 and judged its overall effectiveness to be Good. The inspector reported that children feel safe and happy and form positive relationships with the staff. Children's independence is supported in preparation for their next stage of learning. Staff provide early intervention where needed, working with other professionals to support children's progress. Children learn outdoors, with activities including preparing wood for a fire pit and using tools safely. The nursery also organises trips to a local care home. Children are taught about oral health through stories, as well as learning about different foods and countries. Our ethos As a childcare company we strongly believe high-quality affordable provision should be available to all families and we work towards providing this every day. We aim to equip children with the tools and support they need to develop and maintain their emotional wellbeing and mental health, ensure all children are able to recognise and understand what a healthy relationship is, ensure children are safe and healthy in the care of all our settings and are able to thrive in the environment we create, and ensure children are excited to attend all of our settings and benefit from all the activities on offer. What it's like Children show that they feel safe and happy at the pre-school and arrive full of excitement to explore the activities staff provide. They form positive relationships with the caring and nurturing staff and receive encouragement to promote their confidence and self-esteem. Children develop their knowledge of oral health, with staff reading stories to help them understand the importance of cleaning their teeth, and children sharing their experiences of visiting dentists. Pre-school children work together to prepare wood to make a fire, learning how to use tools safely to make sparks to light the fire pit and about fire safety.
