Outdoor space Children have fresh air and exercise as they play in the garden or play in the park. As they walk out of the nursery building, they know they have to hold onto the fence. Older children happily find a partner as they get ready to go to the park. Staff talk to the children about how to cross the road safely as they walk to the park and children talk to their partners about what they can see.
