The day nursery caters to children aged 1 to 4 years and offers an all-year-round service, operating from 7:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. The setting has an 'Expected Standard' rating from its latest inspection in December 2025. Honeys Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, focusing on developing independence, social responsibility, and a strong sense of belonging in children. The day nursery emphasises outdoor learning daily, helping children build physical strength and coordination. They also prioritise children's welfare and healthy choices, actively working with parents and external partners to support children's development and promote positive behaviour. They seek advice from external experts to help staff to create care plans for individual children. However, the support provided does not always reduce barriers to children's learning and leaders do not always implement advice from specialists to support children's learning.
