I was also questioned on why my child has ear defenders and what are they used for! Very rude and disrespectful staff for example I was told that my child isn’t normal for her age. When my child got diagnosed and I told the nursery staff. I was informed that they could not get the funding from SENCO without even them trying to get that support in place from the beginning. I was later told after years of my daughter attending the nursery that they could not support her and were told to find somewhere else. There was a lack of empathy from the staff and I felt that we were discriminated against.
