Situated in the Stone Lodge Community Centre in Hawthorn Drive, the pre-school primarily serves families in Chantry and southwest Ipswich. It operates 50 weeks a year, closing only for the Christmas period and the August Bank Holiday week. The facilities include a main hall, known as the Buddies Room, for 3 and 4-year-olds, and a separate room, Little Buds, dedicated to 2-year-olds. Both rooms are well-equipped with curriculum-based activities. The pre-school also boasts a large outdoor area with a sandpit, soft-surface play area, and a mud kitchen, as well as a separate secluded outdoor space for 2-year-olds, promoting physical development.
