With 15 dedicated staff members, 11 of whom hold Level 2 or above early years qualifications, the day nursery is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, all year round except for bank holidays and two weeks at Christmas. The setting prides itself on a well-thought-out settling-in process, allowing families and children to quickly become comfortable. Children are encouraged to develop independence, with toddlers and young children learning to pour their own water and serve food. The curriculum supports children in building self-care skills, and staff introduce complex vocabulary like "hibernation" and "pollination" when discussing the outdoor environment, fostering a strong awareness of the world around them. Children actively engage in songs and rhymes, enhancing their speech and language. The day nursery also provides targeted support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
