The nursery received a 'Good' overall rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 8th March 2022. Children are observed to be happy and confident upon arrival, with staff providing a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment that greatly encourages independence and supports emotional well-being. The children at Jumping Jacks Childcare are noted for their good behaviour, showing consideration, kindness, and politeness towards their peers, often sharing and taking turns. The curriculum includes high-quality teaching in planned activities, with staff introducing new vocabulary and extending children's learning, such as during planting activities where children learn about photosynthesis. The setting places importance on outdoor learning, where children confidently manage their own safety, independently riding balance bikes and climbing on outdoor play equipment. For children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), the staff work closely with parents and other professionals, with leaders ensuring plans are swiftly put in place to provide necessary support.
