It offers quality childcare for up to 45 children daily, ranging from 3 months to school age. The nursery is open 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, excluding bank holidays and Christmas. They provide full-time and part-time placements, as well as government-funded places for eligible 2-to-4-year-olds. The dedicated and experienced staff team, many of whom are parents or grandparents themselves, are committed to continuous training and professional development, with a focus on building lasting relationships with families. The curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, emphasising learning, development, and care from birth to school age. They utilise the eyLog electronic system to facilitate active parental involvement by sharing children's daily activities, photos, and formal reports, including the 2-year check. Our ethos Our intention is to support all children in reaching their full potential to learn and to encourage self confidence, socials skills and independence. Our aim is to foster a 'can do' attitude and the ability to build positive relationships as a valued member of society, as well as having fun! What it's like Children settle well in this warm and welcoming setting, benefiting from an effective settling-in process that builds strong relationships with staff, including their key person, helping them to feel safe and secure. They make choices in their play, moving freely to explore and develop their own ideas with a wide range of activities and resources that encourage curiosity.
