My daughter has now been there 1year and a bit and she really likes the teachers and the staff, they are all friendly and try to help as best as they can. Vanessa always went the extra mile for my little one to support her when she had difficulty to eat or sleep. We only had a biting incident with a kid but not really the teachers fault, the teachers in the room helped my daughter feeling secure again. I am very happy with Kido Battersea overall :)",

"reviewBody": "I’ve had a really positive experience at Kido Battersea. From day one, the environment has felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely child focused. The staff are friendly across the board, even down to the housekeeping team, and everyone makes the effort to engage with the children in a caring, family like way.\n\nIn the classrooms, it’s very clear who the main workers are. Each classroom door shows photos of the staff and the names of the children they care for, which I found really reassuring as a parent because you know exactly who to speak to.\n\nOne thing I also really appreciate is the effort management puts into creating a sense of community. There are little events throughout the year for parents and grandparents, tied to different seasons like autumn, Easter, and Christmas. It’s nice to know the nursery isn’t just about dropping your child off and picking them up at the end of the day. They genuinely try to create an environment where families feel involved and connected, which I think is really important.\n\nOne of the biggest indicators for me is my child’s reaction. As soon as I take him out of the buggy, he runs straight into the classroom. That tells me everything I need to know. He feels safe, comfortable, and happy in the environment, which gives me real confidence in my childcare.\n\nI understand that no nursery is ever 100 percent perfect, and there will always be pros and cons. I’ve seen some feedback around communication and staffing, but in my experience, being proactive, asking questions, and having open conversations with the team and management makes a real difference. They are open to feedback and willing to support parents in navigating what works best for their child.\n\nOverall, I feel confident leaving my child here. The care feels genuine, the environment feels warm, and there is a clear openness to improvement.\n\nA big thank you to Vanessa and the rest of the team for the care, effort, and consistency you show every day. It really does not go unnoticed.",

"reviewBody": "I would not recommend Kido Nursery right now. Following their recent cyber incident, it’s clear that their digital systems and data protection measures are not up to standard. Communication with parents has been minimal, and there’s been no reassurance that staff are properly trained to handle cyber risks or protect sensitive information. It’s worrying that a nursery responsible for children’s data appears so unprepared for online threats. Until they demonstrate stronger cybersecurity practices and transparency, I would advise parents to look elsewhere.",

"reviewBody": "I would not recommend this nursery to anyone thinking on sending their baby/child. We were enrolled and started the settling in period with our son and instantly had many concerning issues. We were on the receiving end of a major breach of confidentiality which was not handled correctly by the team when I notified them. Our sons key person was very kind but seemed to be the key person for most children and seemed overwhelmed. Majority of the remaining staff were agency/bank and did not even know the age of the babies they were caring for. So many children were left crying out and very stressed- you don’t need to be an early years expert to know how damaging this is. It’s like a nursery which has been invested in by PE and left to be run into the ground, very concerning and baby care is not their priority.",

"reviewBody": "When I first enrolled my daughter, I thought Kido Battersea was a great environment for her to learn and grow. However, after two months, I began noticing a shift in the treatment we were receiving, as well as changes in my daughter’s behavior.\n\nThe room manager became noticeably hostile whenever I picked up my daughter. When I requested larger nappies for her, I was told they don’t carry bigger sizes. Despite this, I noticed they were still putting on nappies very tightly, which left scars on her skin. After expressing my concerns, I brought in my own larger nappies, and suddenly they were able to accommodate that request.\n\nAdditionally, my daughter started sleeping for up to three hours during the day, which was unusual since she never slept that long at home unless it was nighttime.\n\nOn top of this, I’ve been trying to get a refund for my deposit. The general manager promised a payment by the 20th, but has ignored my emails and now, just two days before Christmas, I’m still waiting for a resolution.\n\nWhile I do think the facility itself is set up well, unfortunately, the staff experience has been disappointing. There are a few staff members who are genuinely great, but they seem overshadowed by others whose behavior has made this experience frustrating.\n\nThat’s concerning to hear, as my daughter did attend Kido Battersea between April and December 2024. I have full records of our registration, correspondence with management, and payment receipts, including my deposit.\n\nIt’s disappointing that instead of addressing a genuine concern, the response has been to deny my child’s attendance. I’d be happy to share the relevant documentation privately if needed, but I stand by my experience and the review above.",

Lovely environment! I am very happy with Kido Battersea overall :)

I’ve had a really positive experience at Kido Battersea. From day one, the environment has felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely child focused. The staff are friendly across the board, even down to the housekeeping team, and everyone makes the effort to engage with the children in a caring, family like way. In the classrooms, it’s very clear who the main workers are. Each classroom door shows photos of the staff and the names of the children they care for, which I found really reassuring as a parent because you know exactly who to speak to. One thing I also really appreciate is the effort management puts into creating a sense of community. There are little events throughout the year for parents and grandparents, tied to different seasons like autumn, Easter, and Christmas. It’s nice to know the nursery isn’t just about dropping your child off and picking them up at the end of the day. They genuinely try to create an environment where families feel involved and connected, which I think is really important. One of the biggest indicators for me is my child’s reaction. As soon as I take him out of the buggy, he runs straight into the classroom. That tells me everything I need to know. He feels safe, comfortable, and happy in the environment, which gives me real confidence in my childcare. I understand that no nursery is ever 100 percent perfect, and there will always be pros and cons. I’ve seen some feedback around communication and staffing, but in my experience, being proactive, asking questions, and having open conversations with the team and management makes a real difference. They are open to feedback and willing to support parents in navigating what works best for their child. Overall, I feel confident leaving my child here. The care feels genuine, the environment feels warm, and there is a clear openness to improvement. A big thank you to Vanessa and the rest of the team for the care, effort, and consistency you show every day. It really does not go unnoticed.

I would not recommend Kido Nursery right now. Until they demonstrate stronger cybersecurity practices and transparency, I would advise parents to look elsewhere.

I would not recommend this nursery to anyone thinking on sending their baby/child. It’s like a nursery which has been invested in by PE and left to be run into the ground, very concerning and baby care is not their priority.

When I first enrolled my daughter, I thought Kido Battersea was a great environment for her to learn and grow. However, after two months, I began noticing a shift in the treatment we were receiving, as well as changes in my daughter’s behavior. The room manager became noticeably hostile whenever I picked up my daughter. When I requested larger nappies for her, I was told they don’t carry bigger sizes. Despite this, I noticed they were still putting on nappies very tightly, which left scars on her skin. After expressing my concerns, I brought in my own larger nappies, and suddenly they were able to accommodate that request. Additionally, my daughter started sleeping for up to three hours during the day, which was unusual since she never slept that long at home unless it was nighttime. On top of this, I’ve been trying to get a refund for my deposit. The general manager promised a payment by the 20th, but has ignored my emails and now, just two days before Christmas, I’m still waiting for a resolution. While I do think the facility itself is set up well, unfortunately, the staff experience has been disappointing. There are a few staff members who are genuinely great, but they seem overshadowed by others whose behavior has made this experience frustrating. That’s concerning to hear, as my daughter did attend Kido Battersea between April and December 2024. I have full records of our registration, correspondence with management, and payment receipts, including my deposit. It’s disappointing that instead of addressing a genuine concern, the response has been to deny my child’s attendance. I’d be happy to share the relevant documentation privately if needed, but I stand by my experience and the review above.
