The team of early years professionals is dedicated to individualising the learning experience, drawing inspiration from diverse pedagogies like Reggio Emilia and Montessori rather than adhering to a single approach. This allows children to explore their interests, engage in rich learning experiences, and develop self-awareness and curiosity. The ultimate goal is to prepare each child for the next stage of their lives with a solid understanding of the world around them. Our ethos Lechlade Little Learners aim to develop a child’s feeling of security, independence, self-worth and confidence in a stimulating environment where they can foster a love of learning. We allow the children to follow their own interests and those of their peers, to create a rich learning experience. We do not follow one set approach or pedagogy in our setting, but instead draw from some of the greats, such as Reggio and Montessori.
