Founded by Jennie McMahon, an experienced Early Years Practitioner and local mother of three with over 22 years in early years education, the nursery benefits from her extensive background, including work with children with additional needs and support for families through early intervention programmes. The nursery believes in a holistic approach to early learning, emphasising that childhood development is a marathon, not a race. The learning environment plays a crucial role and is considered the "third teacher," with parents and practitioners being the first and second, respectively. To foster a calming atmosphere with minimal "visual noise," the nursery has carefully chosen furniture made primarily from natural wood. Resources also incorporate natural materials and "real-life" artefacts, encouraging exploration and discovery. Limes Court Nursery School aims to partner with parents to ensure each child has a rich and positive early years experience.
