The day nursery is open all year round, from Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6pm. At its Ofsted inspection in December 2023, it received an overall rating of Good. The inspector noted that children happily engage in a broad range of activities and that staff and parents work well in partnership to meet children's needs. Children have regular opportunities to play outdoors, using equipment such as a climbing frame and tricycles, and taking part in team games. A visiting dance teacher also leads activities which help children to develop balance and coordination. The day nursery supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, with staff tracking progress to identify those who may need additional support. The special educational needs coordinator works with parents and other agencies to put specific plans in place to support children's development.
