The nursery aims to provide a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment where children can engage in various learning and play experiences. It operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closing only for bank holidays and a five-day period between Christmas and New Year. The nursery is committed to creating an inclusive setting, respecting each child's individuality, and fostering their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development through a flexible routine and an early years curriculum. Little George's places a strong emphasis on healthy eating and nutrition, with meals designed to be both enjoyable and healthy. The dedicated staff team, predominantly qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, regularly undergoes further training, including first aid and food hygiene certifications. The setting also supports children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and works in partnership with parents to ensure effective communication and shared progress.
