The curriculum focuses on developing children's emotional well-being, fostering independence, and building strong friendships. Children confidently pour their own drinks and serve their own food, showcasing their developing self-reliance. The nursery fosters a strong sense of community, with outings to the local library and village carnival that help children develop social skills. The outdoor area has been enhanced, offering babies more space to explore. Children enjoy finding creatures like slugs and woodlice, which staff use to build on their knowledge and vocabulary. A designated staff member supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, working alongside other agencies to follow suggestions for individual support. The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted during its inspection on 18 October 2022, recognising the positive behaviour and attitudes of children, their personal development, and the effective leadership and management.
