They adapt teaching for children with SEND by using language slowly and clearly, using keywords, repetition, and gestures, ensuring all children with SEND make progress. Leaders ensure that pupil premium funding supports individual children's needs and enhances their learning opportunities. Outdoor space Children have daily opportunities to play outdoors. Staff complete daily checks in both the indoor and outdoor areas; these highlight any maintenance issues, which are quickly resolved. The well-resourced outdoor space allows children to develop physical skills, with toddlers digging in the sandpit and pre-school children racing tricycles or playing basketball. EAL / language support Staff do not effectively promote communication and language skills, especially for children who speak English as an additional language.
