"reviewBody": "I want to emphasize that the child care provided by certain staff is shockingly inadequate. Although some staff members make an effort, the high turnover of staff is unacceptable. Over the past year, my child has had 4 to 5 different key workers.\n\nFurthermore, the office staff and management appear to be completely incompetent at running a nursery and addressing safety issues. They lack basic communication skills, frequently misplace payments, and frequently experience staff shortages or last-minute sickness notifications. This results in parents being informed only minutes before drop-off or upon arrival that they must stay with their child, or worse, being turned away at the door. Instead of issuing refunds for the missed day, they offer an additional free day.\n\nI am deeply concerned about the way parenting and behavioral issues are handled, as it seems that little is done to address children getting hurt by others, aside from filling out forms.\n\nIn my opinion, the manager, Emily, is one of the most ineffective nursery managers I have encountered. The high staff turnover only serves to underscore these issues.\n\nI strongly advise against choosing this nursery, as the facilities should not overshadow the multitude of issues present",

"reviewBody": "My son has been at this nursery for just about a year now. He has moved from the nursery side of his room into the preschool side and as such has had two different key workers. When me and my family moved to the area just over a year ago our son was non verbal and struggled with social interaction and so choice of nursery was very important to us.\n\nThe support and care he has received at this nursery has been utterly exceptional, he now speaks well and is improving everyday, his ability to socialise and play has come on leaps and bounds and he hasn't opened up emotionally in a way we never expected. Our previous nursery was good, but the workers at little pioneers really put their heart and soul into their work and it is apparent. As some have said in other reviews yes there has been a turnover of staff in this time, something that cannot be helped, but I think the way the teams in the children's rooms and the management team particularly have handled this situation is incredible.\n\nThank you to everyone at this nursery, you have helped us in a way I never knew possible in raising my little boy anf made the difficult process of childcare so much easier",

All the staff there are so lovely and caring that I really feel my little boy is well looked after. All the staff there including the management genuinely love kids and in less than a week my little boy was quite happy to go there with no tears at all. This was a massive achievement as he only went to me and my wife and would cry usually if he went with anyone else, even close relatives. I can't rate this place enough. They've got it right as they always put the children first.",

"reviewBody": "We love Little Pioneers Cheltenham Park.\n\nOur daughter (14mths) has been attending the Little Explorers room now for 2-3 months. From the moment we set foot in the nursery we have felt welcomed, comfortable and our daughter has settled really well with the help of the team. The nursery itself feels clean, tidy and well organised when you enter and the rooms are bright and spacious. Handovers have been great, everyone knows our little girls name and there is never a time where there isn't a familiar face greeting us, even if her key worker isn't in that day (which never matters as all the staff show our daughter the same level of care and attention and are happy to provide detailed handovers). Perhaps because I do not have to drop off and pick up at rush hour, I can take my time with handovers so I feel I get to see the inner workings of the nursery and it always feels as though the team have everything handled even when the room is busy. My daughter loves the food provided (as she generally eats it all!) and loves cuddles with all the staff. When she was poorly back in September they were very quick to contact us and showed genuine care and concern for her wellbeing.\n\nI would absolutely recommend you take a look around and meet the team at Cheltenham Park as it has worked out perfectly for us.Thank you to the nursery manager Emily, along with Lauren, Charlie, Alana, Sinead, Becky & Emma (to name just a few!)",

Inclusion & environment

## How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff respond quickly to children's learning needs, including those children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and refresh resources promptly to inspire exploratory play.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy outdoor play; for example, older children use crates and boxes for imaginative play and games like hide and seek. While these activities promote confidence and creativity, some staff struggle to fully support children's unstructured play and hesitate to engage at the right moments, leading to inconsistencies in teaching quality.

I want to emphasize that the child care provided by certain staff is shockingly inadequate. Although some staff members make an effort, the high turnover of staff is unacceptable. Over the past year, my child has had 4 to 5 different key workers. Furthermore, the office staff and management appear to be completely incompetent at running a nursery and addressing safety issues. They lack basic communication skills, frequently misplace payments, and frequently experience staff shortages or last-minute sickness notifications. This results in parents being informed only minutes before drop-off or upon arrival that they must stay with their child, or worse, being turned away at the door. Instead of issuing refunds for the missed day, they offer an additional free day. I am deeply concerned about the way parenting and behavioral issues are handled, as it seems that little is done to address children getting hurt by others, aside from filling out forms. In my opinion, the manager, Emily, is one of the most ineffective nursery managers I have encountered. The high staff turnover only serves to underscore these issues. I strongly advise against choosing this nursery, as the facilities should not overshadow the multitude of issues present

My son has been at this nursery for just about a year now. He has moved from the nursery side of his room into the preschool side and as such has had two different key workers. When me and my family moved to the area just over a year ago our son was non verbal and struggled with social interaction and so choice of nursery was very important to us. The support and care he has received at this nursery has been utterly exceptional, he now speaks well and is improving everyday, his ability to socialise and play has come on leaps and bounds and he hasn't opened up emotionally in a way we never expected. Our previous nursery was good, but the workers at little pioneers really put their heart and soul into their work and it is apparent. As some have said in other reviews yes there has been a turnover of staff in this time, something that cannot be helped, but I think the way the teams in the children's rooms and the management team particularly have handled this situation is incredible. Thank you to everyone at this nursery, you have helped us in a way I never knew possible in raising my little boy anf made the difficult process of childcare so much easier

I was really nervous about letting my little boy start nursery. Little pioneers made it easy for me. They've got it right as they always put the children first.

Since my daughter joined little pioneers nursery she has came on so well with her speaking, and is so much more confident. The love and support staff have shown her has been lovely. If I have any questions or even need someone to chat to, management have been absolutely amazing I can’t say a bad word about this nursery. It’s like a second family.

We love Little Pioneers Cheltenham Park. Our daughter (14mths) has been attending the Little Explorers room now for 2-3 months. When she was poorly back in September they were very quick to contact us and showed genuine care and concern for her wellbeing. I would absolutely recommend you take a look around and meet the team at Cheltenham Park as it has worked out perfectly for us.Thank you to the nursery manager Emily, along with Lauren, Charlie, Alana, Sinead, Becky & Emma (to name just a few!)
