When my mum said oh no you’re a big boy why are you in the nappy. The staff said that he was still in the nappy from his nap. Which was two hours before we arrived at the nursery. So as he was in pants he shouldn’t have been in a nappy at all after his nap. Suddenly it clicked. They have been putting him in a nappy in the day and so when I was potty training him at home he was confused. I also have had five injuries in one day. One bite. Which can’t be helped. A massive gouge out his head. Which you could argue couldn’t be helped. He also bumped his head. And then when I went to pick him up from the nursery I found a burn like mark on his wrist. Which no one knew how it happened. Now my concerns are that why was the staff not watching him. So when I questioned the staff they had no clue how it happened. I was concerned for the safety of my son as 5 injuries in one day is a lot and so unnecessary. So I tried to find out what had happened and they were absolutely useless with me. They wouldn’t explain what had happened. And when I questioned what they were going to do to keep him safe they completely ignored me. So when we had a meeting about it they fobbed me off with putting him on a behaviour chart. Now, my son also went to a different nursey and had no issues whatsoever there. There were far to many incidents without explaining what had happened. Constantly every day he went in there was a new injury. Or new incident. And the staff ignored my concerns.
