## About this day nursery

Little Plums Nursery Ilkeston, registered with Ofsted on 22/05/2024, is a childcare setting on non-domestic premises located at 19a, Summerfields Way, Ilkeston, DE7 9HE. The nursery prides itself on an ambitious and well-planned curriculum that is differentiated to support each child's individual needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Our ethos

Our approach to learning and teaching is through child centred play and education. We provide a positive play environment for every child, so they may develop good social skills and an appreciation of all aspects of this country’s multi-cultural society. We recognise that children need regular access to outdoor play in order to keep fit and healthy, develop their large and fine motor skills, experience learning in a natural environment and access sunlight in order to absorb vitamin D more effectively.

Staff actively gather children's interests and routines from parents to ensure smooth transitions. Children settle well, and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported to make progress through teaching and activities tailored to their needs.

## Pricing & funding

Fees are charged on a private basis across fifty-one weeks a year, offering half day, full day, and full week bookings. Once funded hours are exhausted, hourly rates apply depending on the session length. Additional fees apply for meals during funded sessions, late pick-ups, admin changes, and ad-hoc sessions.
