The nursery provides hourly-based childcare, with a minimum attendance requirement of three hours per day and six hours per week. While they strive for flexibility, all children are generally expected to have set weekly hours. The nursery is closed on bank holidays, for two weeks in August, and for a two-week Christmas break, with no charges applied during these periods. They are registered with OFSTED and actively participate in various government funding schemes, including the universal 15 hours for 3 and 4-year-olds, the extended 30 hours for eligible 3 and 4-year-olds, and 2-year-old funding for eligible families. Additionally, they support parents in accessing Tax-Free Childcare, Tax Credits, and Universal Credit for childcare costs. A voluntary consumables charge covers snacks, drinks, art supplies, and other sundries, ensuring children have access to a range of enriching activities. Parents are required to give six weeks’ written notice if their child is leaving or four weeks’ notice for changes to permanent hours.
