Children with SEND are exceptionally well supported. A knowledgeable and well-trained leader supports staff effectively to identify and plan for children's individual needs. They work confidently with a range of professionals, such as speech and language therapists, and implement the necessary targets into their practice. Staff communicate children's progress confidently with them to ensure targets are meaningful and challenging. This helps children to make good progress from their starting points. Outdoor space The setting makes the best use of their park location and provides every opportunity for developing outdoor learning in all the areas of the curriculum. For example, the children investigate minibeasts, plants and trees and learn about their names and habitats. My child was traumatised and terrified during their time here, and I deeply regret not moving them sooner. I echo all the recent negative reviews regarding staff shouting at children and the use of 'time outs' as a primary discipline. Management seems completely out of touch with modern standards of children's mental health; it feels like they are 50 years behind. Since switching to a new setting, the difference is like night and day. We now have kind, smiley staff who actually teach and nurture our child, rather than just 'minding' them for the day. Please, do your research before sending your child here. A nurturing, supportive environment is essential for early childhood, and sadly this place does not provide that.
