Rated "Good" by Ofsted in its latest inspection on April 6, 2022, the nursery operates Monday to Friday, 8am until 6pm, all year round. Children are excited to start their day at Marmalade Nursery, engaging in interesting activities and outings that foster an appreciation for the world around them. The curriculum is broad and engaging, with staff drawing on children's interests to plan activities, such as making "tulip tea" after observing an interest in garden flowers. The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning; children benefit from well-planned outdoor areas used daily and in all weathers, with dedicated spaces for babies and older children. For instance, babies listen to the rain from under a shelter, while older children improve counting skills in a purpose-built garden pod. Marmalade Nursery provides excellent support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), and those receiving additional funding.
