Starting as a small playgroup, it has expanded into an 83-place full day care nursery, offering provisions for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Operating 51 weeks a year, from 8 am to 5:30 pm, the nursery closes only for bank holidays and one week during the Christmas period. As a not-for-profit organisation, Millers Dene Day Care is deeply dedicated to the holistic development of each child, encompassing their social, moral, physical, and intellectual growth. The nursery strives to provide a secure, nurturing, and stimulating environment that enables every child to reach their full potential and achieve excellent standards, working in close collaboration with parents, families, and the wider community.
