The pre-school prides itself on its dedicated and qualified staff, all of whom are first-aid trained and have undergone enhanced police checks. A full-time, qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is on staff, working closely with families and external agencies to ensure every child's needs are met. Monkeys Pre-school embraces a philosophy of collaboration with parents and carers, believing this partnership significantly contributes to a child's progress and development, preparing them for school. They offer flexible session options, including half-day sessions, and are committed to accommodating diverse family needs. The pre-school has a strong focus on inclusive education, welcoming all children and providing tailored support for those with additional needs, ensuring no child faces discrimination. Our ethos All children are welcome within the setting, we work very closely with all parents / carers where we believe this has a great impact on the children enabling them to progress, achieve and develop well to reach there full potential ready for school. What it's like Children are relaxed, calm and happy as they play in the safe and welcoming pre-school. They have adapted well to changes due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), including confidently leaving their parents at the door.
