The kids are well fed with varied and nutritious meals, all staff are absolutely lovely and great with my son and the other children. Activities are age appropriate and engaging, documentation is great and we are frequently updated about our son. Reviews on cleanliness must be outdated as I have yet to witness any cleanliness problems. Lovely nursery in a nice, safe area. I feel safe to leave my son at this nursery and confident he is well taken care of there.",

"reviewBody": "We recently moved our son from another nursery after not having a great experience, and making the switch has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. From the moment we came to view the nursery, we knew it was going to be the right place for him.\n\nThe environment is very clean, well organised, and welcoming. The staff are lovely and so friendly, and the manager has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Our son is now starting to really enjoy nursery, he comes home happy, clean, and well fed, which means everything to us as parents.\n\nThe team puts so much effort into planning different activities to support the children’s learning and development, and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about every child. Overall, this nursery is absolutely incredible. If you are considering a nursery for your child, I would definitely recommend this one without hesitation.",

"reviewBody": "I have waited for our sons last day at the nursery before giving a review:\nAbsolutely amazing team!!!\nRaphael has started going to Moorgate Nursery in April and I can see how much he has changed. Being parents for the first time especially when there is nobody to teach you how to , can be tricky, but wherever we failed I can assure you they (the Nursery team) completed the task of making Raphael a big boy ready for school. Before he wasnt eating many fruits, he wasn't listening much to us but now he comes home tidying his toys and clothes and he is very happy.\n\nBig Thank you to Becky , our main point of contact, profesional, friendly and always available and Ellie for always being nice and kind, explaining with patience the things (activities) that happened during the day. Also dear Kerri , the teacher that had to witness most of the \"accidents\"...Thank you! and thank you to every single one of you that helped my boy grow better and stronger.\nThank you for you patience and your hard work! Wishing you all, all the best in life!\nThank you to all the team 🫶🏻",

"reviewBody": "I've reluctantly given this nursery 2 stars mainly as Alice one of the employees and a previous employee Elisha were really great with my girl and she did establish a bond with them.\n\nUnfortunately aside from this it's disorganised, I have concerns about safe guarding and I'm still unsure about what my daughter actually got out of this experience.\n\nI will break it down.\nWe joined this nursery after a move across the country, it was newly opening but as they had other nursery's I felt confident and was promised great stuff. Initially I was frustrated but felt I needed to give them time to settle and establish.\n\nUnfortunately however disorganisation was routine, partly due to the extremely high staff turnover.\n\nSecondly I felt some staff were reluctant to do the things we as parents expected or what they got paid for such as planning appropriate activities, events etc. Although this began to improve when I spoke to staff. My girl rarely came home with activities she'd done, completed apart from tokenistic ones such as draw a heart for valentines day. When comparing with her previous nursery and my sons nursery this was odd. As we paid for these materials.\nThere was little routine to the day and at times she had no motivation to go in as she wasnt stimulated at all unlike her at school or the excitement she showed when going to her previous setting.\n\nThey didn't do much to teach, there were no performances for xmas, Easter end of the year, no rewards system and the graduation was a case of come in, have a photo, get a certificate and leave. Compared again with my sons graduation where they performed organised awards, a photography backdrop and so on. When my girl left her previous nursery even though she'd spent most her time in lock down she had the most wonderful record book, with moments shared. Additionally I was given daily updates on what went down in nursery. Here they didn't even report visits to toilet, just meals which at times were. Falsely reported as my very vocal daughter would say she ate nothing tmbut her report always stated she'd eaten most of her dinner. It was also evident at how hungry she was.\nThey also rarely shared EYFS milestones or achievements. In fact up until I voiced my concerns there had oy been 1 report in about 8months if not longer. Again when compared with previous experiences I'd say is unacceptable.\n\nThe biggest concern came to me and pushed me to leave this review when I met another parent with a child that has the same name and on one occasion my daughter was bought out to send home with the wrong person. I had previously raised this with staff when my mum went to pick her up randomly as she was on route home and it would save my dad popping out again 5 mins later. My mum wasn't asked for a password or quizzed, they didn't call me to check this was OK.\n\nI also feel due to disorganisation they failed to apply discipline. Again this was something I'd raised with staff.\n\nAs I'd given them some time to settle and by the time I realised this was how they operate and it wouldn't change it was too late for me to switch provider, however should I have the opportunity to go back in time knowing what I know now my girl would not attend this nursery. A real shame as the setting has so much potential.\nMy daughter does make the most out of every situation however my son would need encouragement etc and if he was in this setting I know he'd be miserable.\nI hate leaving negative reviews but in all honesty there is a lot of improvement required in this setting.",

## What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

> Parents describe feeling that their children are safe and well cared for.

Inclusion & environment

## How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported. They are able to access the setting and the opportunities that staff provide for them. Staff recognise when children need extra help, communicate with parents, and promptly seek extra support from outside agencies. Children with SEND are learning new skills alongside their peers.

Outdoor space

Children listen outdoors for new sounds and look up into the sky to see what they can see. Managers and staff carry out risk assessments of the environment to ensure that children are safe. At the same time, they allow children to take risks outdoors and learn how to keep themselves safe.

My son has attended this nursery for a few months in the baby room and as of current I have no issues. I feel safe to leave my son at this nursery and confident he is well taken care of there.

We recently moved our son from another nursery after not having a great experience, and making the switch has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. From the moment we came to view the nursery, we knew it was going to be the right place for him. The environment is very clean, well organised, and welcoming. The staff are lovely and so friendly, and the manager has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Our son is now starting to really enjoy nursery, he comes home happy, clean, and well fed, which means everything to us as parents. The team puts so much effort into planning different activities to support the children’s learning and development, and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about every child. Overall, this nursery is absolutely incredible. If you are considering a nursery for your child, I would definitely recommend this one without hesitation.

I have waited for our sons last day at the nursery before giving a review: Absolutely amazing team!!! Raphael has started going to Moorgate Nursery in April and I can see how much he has changed. Being parents for the first time especially when there is nobody to teach you how to , can be tricky, but wherever we failed I can assure you they (the Nursery team) completed the task of making Raphael a big boy ready for school. Before he wasnt eating many fruits, he wasn't listening much to us but now he comes home tidying his toys and clothes and he is very happy. Big Thank you to Becky , our main point of contact, profesional, friendly and always available and Ellie for always being nice and kind, explaining with patience the things (activities) that happened during the day. Also dear Kerri , the teacher that had to witness most of the "accidents"...Thank you! and thank you to every single one of you that helped my boy grow better and stronger. Thank you for you patience and your hard work! Wishing you all, all the best in life! Thank you to all the team 🫶🏻

I've reluctantly given this nursery 2 stars mainly as Alice one of the employees and a previous employee Elisha were really great with my girl and she did establish a bond with them. Unfortunately aside from this it's disorganised, I have concerns about safe guarding and I'm still unsure about what my daughter actually got out of this experience. I will break it down. We joined this nursery after a move across the country, it was newly opening but as they had other nursery's I felt confident and was promised great stuff. Initially I was frustrated but felt I needed to give them time to settle and establish. Unfortunately however disorganisation was routine, partly due to the extremely high staff turnover. Secondly I felt some staff were reluctant to do the things we as parents expected or what they got paid for such as planning appropriate activities, events etc. Although this began to improve when I spoke to staff. My girl rarely came home with activities she'd done, completed apart from tokenistic ones such as draw a heart for valentines day. When comparing with her previous nursery and my sons nursery this was odd. As we paid for these materials. There was little routine to the day and at times she had no motivation to go in as she wasnt stimulated at all unlike her at school or the excitement she showed when going to her previous setting. They didn't do much to teach, there were no performances for xmas, Easter end of the year, no rewards system and the graduation was a case of come in, have a photo, get a certificate and leave. It was also evident at how hungry she was. They also rarely shared EYFS milestones or achievements. In fact up until I voiced my concerns there had oy been 1 report in about 8months if not longer. Again when compared with previous experiences I'd say is unacceptable. The biggest concern came to me and pushed me to leave this review when I met another parent with a child that has the same name and on one occasion my daughter was bought out to send home with the wrong person. I had previously raised this with staff when my mum went to pick her up randomly as she was on route home and it would save my dad popping out again 5 mins later. My mum wasn't asked for a password or quizzed, they didn't call me to check this was OK. I also feel due to disorganisation they failed to apply discipline. Again this was something I'd raised with staff. As I'd given them some time to settle and by the time I realised this was how they operate and it wouldn't change it was too late for me to switch provider, however should I have the opportunity to go back in time knowing what I know now my girl would not attend this nursery. A real shame as the setting has so much potential. My daughter does make the most out of every situation however my son would need encouragement etc and if he was in this setting I know he'd be miserable. I hate leaving negative reviews but in all honesty there is a lot of improvement required in this setting.
