The dedicated staff are positive role models, promoting good behaviour and positive attitudes towards learning. Children are encouraged to explore and develop their concentration skills through creative activities like gluing and painting, and by drawing their own homes. The playgroup excels in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), carefully observing and identifying learning gaps to ensure all children make good progress. Children who speak English as an additional language (EAL) receive excellent support, with staff utilising home languages, English, and signs during play, which also broadens other children's understanding of the wider world. Outdoor learning is a key feature, with children spending much time exploring the garden, searching for insects, and engaging in physical activities like singing rhymes and dancing, which aids their physical development by building large-muscle skills. The playgroup also integrates numbers and basic mathematical concepts into daily activities, such as recognising and sequencing numbers through puzzles. Parents consistently praise the care their children receive, noting their progress and the support they get from staff.
