Operating 50 weeks a year, excluding Bank Holidays and one week in late August, the nursery caters to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, with daily capacity for 85 children. The nursery embraces the Curiosity Approach and Planning in the Moment as its curriculum, focusing on allowing children to explore and experience the world around them. A key person system ensures each child's individual development is supported, and the setting prides itself on being inclusive, supporting children with additional needs to reach their full potential. The environment is designed to enrich children's experiences through natural artifacts, extensive art and sensory play, cooking, and gardening. Their fantastic outdoor space, comprising a large playground, a rubber crumb area, and two lawns, is utilised daily to promote healthy and happy lives for the children. The nursery is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Our ethos Mountford House Nursery embraces the Curiosity Approach and Planning in the Moment as its curriculum, focusing on allowing children to explore and experience the world around them.
