The pre-school maintains strong ties with the local community, including Nafferton Primary School, to ensure children receive the best possible preparation for their transition to school. As a non-profit organisation, Nafferton Under Fives encourages parent and carer involvement through its fundraising committee to help update resources. The dedicated and professional team also incorporates phase 1 phonics into daily sessions and welcomes children eligible for funded hours, offering both 15 and 30-hour free childcare options for eligible two, three, and four-year-olds. The pre-school operates during term time from 8 am to 5:30 pm, with flexible drop-off and pick-up arrangements. Our ethos Nafferton Under Fives believes in providing a safe, friendly, caring environment in which children can thrive, offering a wealth of fun learning opportunities covering the Early Year’s Foundation Stage.
