On 29 August 2023, the nursery informed Ofsted about a significant incident, fulfilling their legal duty. A subsequent regulatory visit on 15 September 2023 confirmed the provider had addressed and rectified several non-compliance issues. These actions included strengthening supervision and child safety, providing refresher training for staff on nursery procedures, improving risk assessments for effective staff deployment, and updating policies to ensure all children remain within sight and hearing. The nursery also reissued safeguarding procedures, including the whistle-blowing policy, to ensure concerns can be reported to statutory authorities without delay. This notification means the provider has met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, to notify Ofsted of a significant event. - On 15 September 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. During the visit, we found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements but had taken action to put this right.
