Staff work closely with parents and external professionals to ensure that timely support is provided. Funding is used well to ensure that children who need a little more help receive the support they are entitled to, which helps them to make the progress they are capable of. Outdoor space Children know how to keep themselves safe when climbing down the staircase to play outside. As they line up beforehand, they declare with conviction, 'hold on to the bannister'. EAL / language support Children who speak English as an additional language are very well supported. Staff read dual-language story books, say words in both languages and ensure that children have opportunities to see and use their home language as they play.
