Many of the staff we met when our now 7 year old first started are still there several years later which says a lot! Management are fab too, we have had nothing but positive, supportive interactions. Also there is a nice social side for the parents which Orchard encourage with events like mothers and fathers day breakfasts. The nursery prides itself on fostering a wholesome and homely atmosphere where children feel secure and motivated to learn. Orchard Day Nursery aims to instil a lifelong love of learning, creating memorable experiences both within the classroom and through outdoor exploration. The dedicated and diverse team of practitioners contributes significantly to the nursery's unique environment. The nursery caters to different age groups with specially designed rooms: a bright and airy baby room for up to 14 infants, a colourful and spacious toddler room accommodating up to 32 children for exploration and creativity, and a pre-school divided into two rooms with interchangeable resources for up to 24 children. Additionally, there is a pre-school at St Luke's, opened in January 2020, dedicated to providing a spectacular final year for up to 19 children before they transition to school.
